You automatically receive your trade paper in the mail.

VET students
Certificate and statements of attainment
We can replace certificates and statements of attainment from closed VRQA-registered RTOs.
You can search for your RTO on training.gov.au. In the search results, click on the Registration tab to find out if the VRQA registered the RTO.
Complete the request form and email to vrqa@education.vic.gov.au
Allow 10 working days for us to process your request.
Verification of student records
You can request verification of a student’s VET studies from closed VRQA-registered RTOs.
You need permission from the student for us to share their student records with you.
Attach a copy of the student’s certificate or statement of attainment to the request form and email to vrqa@education.vic.gov.au.
Statement or record of results
If you studied after 2014 your student results may be available on the Unique Student Identifier (USI) website.
If your results are not on the USI website, we can replace certificates and statements of attainment from closed VRQA-registered RTOs.
If you are a student in a course at an RTO, you should receive a:
- statement of unit results (printed or online) regularly throughout your course, for example, at the end of each semester
- certificate when you complete your course
- statement of attainment if you leave your RTO before completing your course.
If you are not receiving any of these, contact your RTO. The terms of your agreement may specify a reason.
Make a complaint about a VRQA-registered RTO
If you think your RTO is not meeting their agreed terms, you may have grounds to make a complaint(opens in a new window).
We can only help if the VRQA registered the RTO.
We cannot change an RTO's decision about results. But we can investigate whether the decision-making process was correct.
Before making a complaint to us, check training.gov.au(opens in a new window) to see who registered the RTO.
