An update on our client and stakeholder research

The results from our 2025 Client and stakeholder research (PDF, 1.98MB) are now available. Across all sectors, the VRQA is considered an effective regulator. Most clients and stakeholders report high levels of satisfaction with our services.

However, participation from education providers continued to decline last year.

In 2026, we will pause our annual research so that we can redesign the methodology and delivery. We will focus on how we can effectively capture your feedback with research that is more targeted and easier to engage with.

Thank you to all of you who participated in the research in 2025 and in previous years. Your feedback has helped us better understand the regulatory issues impacting your sector and improve our services.

Your input has directly informed improvements, including our action plan to support school compliance(opens in a new window) and priorities for apprentice and trainee regulation(opens in a new window).

This year we will continue to respond to your feedback through the development of:

• updated school guidelines
• new VET guidelines
• resources for school boarding premises
• online home school registration
• regulatory campaigns in the apprentice and trainee sector.
