The Fair Work Ombudsman has launched a campaign targeting apprentices and trainees in the building and construction industry.

The aim of the campaign is to educate young workers aged 16 to 25 about their workplace rights and entitlements. This includes providing tailored information on their website for apprentices and trainees about starting an apprenticeship, training, pay.

The role of the Fair Work Ombudsman is to promote harmonious, productive, cooperative and compliant workplace relations in Australia.

You can find more information about apprentices and trainees from the Fair Work Ombudsman.
