New CEO announced

Following a competitive recruitment process, Jenny Atta (Secretary, Department of Education), and Pam White (Chair, VRQA Board), have announced the appointment of Stefanie Veal to the role of CEO, VRQA.

As a former Deputy CEO at VRQA, Stefanie will bring to the leadership role a strong understanding of the breadth of our regulatory remit and landscape, as well as critical experience as a senior regulator. She will also bring her recent experience as Chief Education and Integrity Officer at the Victorian Catholic Education Authority.

Stefanie is a values driven, collaborative leader and her understanding of modern regulation, legislative frameworks and good governance will support the VRQA to deliver and enhance the regulation of education and training in Victoria.

Stefanie will commence in the role on Monday 17 June 2024.
