Information for employers about the Apprentice Employee Assistance Program

Did you know Victorian apprentices and trainees can access free counselling services?

The Apprentice Employee Assistance Program is confidential. Appointments are available face-to-face or by:

  • phone
  • video conference
  • live chat.

The counselling services are available to all apprentices and trainees who are employed by Victorian businesses. They don’t need a doctor’s referral.

Information sessions for employees

This is an Apprenticeships Victoria initiative in partnership with external provider Converge International.

To help employers learn more about this service, online information sessions are available. The sessions will cover how apprentices and trainees can access the service. There are two 45-minute online sessions:

  • Session 1 – Wednesday 11 March at 1:00 pm
  • Session 2 – Monday 16 March at 1:00 pm
