2024 client and stakeholder research findings

The results from our 2024 client and stakeholder research are now available. Across all sectors, VRQA is considered an effective regulator.

Most clients and stakeholders report high levels of satisfaction with our services. Home educators and registered training organisations (RTOs) provided high levels of positive feedback. There is an opportunity to improve satisfaction amongst independent schools.

The results pleasingly show high levels of awareness and engagement with the Child Safe Standards across sectors.

Many of the performance measures we collected from apprentices, trainees, and their employers for the first time in 2023, improved in 2024. Results show a statistically significant rise in awareness amongst employers.

However, participation from education providers in our research is declining. In 2025, we will streamline our research and strive to improve engagement.

We're listening to your feedback. Your input directly informs the work we will do this year to:

• improve the content and resources on our new website
• conduct regulatory campaigns that build awareness in the apprentice and trainee sector
• deliver better guidance and information sessions for schools and RTOs.
